It’s prom time in Long Island, and everyone wants to look their best. But what does their best even look like? For this bunch of prom-obsessed schoolgirls it’s whatever their mothers tell them: perfect hair, perfect dress and perfect smile. After all, it’s not the girls who want to outdo one another; it’s their hyper competitive mothers, for whom prom is almost as big as a wedding. But the white-picket bliss of suburbia is starting to stir as more and more girls are beginning to question whether there is more to life than looking beautiful. Introducing the Class of 2015.
